Registered Town Planner, Registered Architect & Registered Landscape Architect & Professional scholar. Actively engaged practitioner with over 35 years industry experience in Australia of which ten years was in Malaysia.
Responsible for the project management of the: Wanneroo Land Use & Transport study; Midland Car parking and Transportation study & work with Travers Morgan Transportation Consultant (UK) on various transportation projects, in Sarawak. Edward is currently involved as a project leader for large mixed use transport / SMART CITY development, in the City of Melville. (Estimated budget of AUD 48 million)
Edward is a Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia, Associate of the Landscape Institute of Australia. Registered Town Planner, Registered Architect & Registered Landscape Architect. Edward has been employed by various organisations such as: Town Planning Department, Ministry of Planning, City of Swan, and City of Perth as well as a Senior Lecturer at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. He is classified a professional scholar and practitioner and runs his own practice in Perth Western Australia, (under the broad umbrella of Enrich Global Consultancy Group) and has also been the advisor for the following organisations in Sarawak (Land Custody & Development Authority, Lands & Surveys Department & Ministry of Planning & Resource Management) and as an Architect / Landscape Architect in the private sector.
Edward has a Doctorate of Business Administration (Information Systems), from Edith Cowan University including various degrees in law, architecture, landscape architecture, urban studies, urban and regional planning, urban studies, development studies, Asian studies, science and technology policy and planning. Other significant projects he has been involved in are: The Bakun Hydro- Electric Project & the Kuching City waterfront redevelopment project, including the preparation of many structure plans and urban development plans for the government of Sarawak, Malaysia and also in Perth, Western Australia.
He lectures in Planning Law, Environment Law, Urban Design, Strategic Urban & Regional Planning, Transportation and Environmental Planning, Planning Practice, SMART CITIES, Creative Cities as well as PhD supervision of ECU students. His preference is to assist other teams in the project management of projects.
